life's little irony...

ages.........its been ages since i have written my last blog. infact i was fumbling for my password while signing into this!!!! i m being bitten by the pangs of laziness which curbs me frm writing.
but yeah theres a reason for writing this blog...an incident which struck chords in me n which i would like to share with others.
Today me and my frnd were passing through koti on my kinetic(we were actually sending off one of our frnds). We saw an old woman, who just got down one of the RTC buses( filled to the hilt) being hit by an auto. She fell head-on on the road. The auto driver has not even stopped by to apologise. None of the roadside passers have paid attention to this.
So i immediately parked my vehicle n went to help the woman who still lay crawled on the ground. She has been injured on the head n her mouth bled. We helped her onto her legs and looked around for water, but struck no luck. People started mobbing all around us and finally there came a police inspector. He was gud enough to let the woman settle in one corner. Then there came our ms.villain (another inspector) who claims to have witnessed our vehicle hitting the lady(this is ridiculous, preposterous!!!). Me and my frnd were dumbstruck. Her baseless claims raised my hackles. She started questioning the old woman( who was sobbing with intense pain) abt the person responsible for the accident. This broke the silence tht engulfed us. I paid a deaf ear to the woman and requested the other officer to immediately shift the woman to a near by hospital, despite the protests of the lady inspector.
We were in a hurry, but tht did not hold me back frm retaliating at the lady police officer(a few shouts of mine did the work!! The lady shut her stinking mouth)
Afterall we have given a helping hand and were paid back with baseless accusations!!! This is the irony.....
Helping out people in need is a blissful feeling....
how can one just ignore an old woman in shackles!!!! This certainly opens ground to INTROSPECTION........
